Job Summary:

Join our team as a Team Lead for Enterprise Applications. In this role, you will lead a diverse team environment, supporting and maintaining Microsoft technologies that enhance our business processes and employee productivity while ensuring security. With a solid understanding of on-prem AD, Azure AD, servers, clients, email, Microsoft Teams, and cloud technologies, you will contribute to new implementation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Windows Server Operating System architecture and Active Directory Domain in a mission-critical enterprise production environment.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to Microsoft Infrastructure in hybrid environments involving on-premises and cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical engineers to design new solutions and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Independently research and resolve highly complex technical problems.
  • Continuously investigate and mitigate security vulnerabilities within Microsoft Infrastructure.
  • Perform daily and weekly maintenance routines by proactively addressing alerts from monitoring systems related to the mentioned technologies.
  • Manage Microsoft subscriptions, licenses, and identity management through PowerShell, scripting languages, or Microsoft Graph API.
  • Develop and implement automated processes to increase efficiency and scalability, reducing manual efforts.
  • Adhere to ITIL concepts, including Change Management Process, when making changes to key production systems.
  • Assist with documentation creation and modification, including installation and configuration procedures, system documentation, and Standard Operation Manuals.
  • Work in parallel with support and ongoing technology projects as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, MIS, or a related field from an accredited college or university (preferred).

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of overall IT experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies, including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies.
  • ITIL v3 Certification.
  • Demonstrated progressive advancement in responsibility, including deep troubleshooting technical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Identity technologies, including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies.
  • Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) and GPOs.
  • Expert knowledge of AD, ADFS, PKI in Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2.
  • Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS in a Windows 2012 landscape.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Forefront Identity Management, Microsoft Exchange, Quest Active Roles Server (ARS) is preferable.
  • Deep understanding of monitoring best practices, preferably with Microsoft System Center Operation Manager (SCOM) experience.
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles, and concepts; application infrastructure and standards; networking fundamentals; Windows; Physical Server architecture; Virtualization Technologies (e.g., VMware, HyperV); and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies.
